Should I move my story to Substack?

I started asking myself this question today only because I discovered and began to understand Substack just this morning.

Solo Shannon video on YouTube titled “Why Substack Feels Like Old-School Blogging Again” made me take notice. I thought this was just a newsletter platform! I had no idea it was more than that. (The fact that I can tag someone in a blog! That’s cool. )

I’ve been building my own sites since the mid-90s on and off. I loved doing it. “Loved” is the keyword. These days I just want to document what I’m creating instead of coding up a new site, tweaking HTML, PHP, and CSS, worrying about where to host, etc. This looks like a fun place and I would to be a part of it.

This is the place if you want to read a somewhat daily journal (or note) of someone trying their best, sharing their mistakes and sometimes success. Positive and fun.

Lastly, this blog would be soulless if I didn’t start it off by introducing you to my cats. Meet “Nico” and “Bumper - The Prophet of the Void”.
